In a bumper week for fans of Monteverdi there are three different releases featuring the work of the composer.
I Fagiolini, the one-time
Factory Classical artists under director Robert Hollingsworth, bring us 'Flaming Heart' (
Chandos) which gets four stars and a favourable review by Andrew Clements in the
Guardian. Irked purists might argue that this is not "their first Monteverdi disc" as this title belongs to
Facd 316 'The Art of Monteverdi'.
