We Will Preserve The Façade
A bucket of rubble salvaged from the demolition of FAC 51 The Haçienda is being auctioned by art collective UHC to raise money for the campaign reports Adam Moss in the Manchester Evening News.
Artefacts from the interior were auctioned before demolition commenced but, despite promises to the contrary, the legendary cruved façade itself was not retained as part of the structure of the Haçienda Apartments. The conceptual art piece is entitled 'We Will Preserve The Façade'.
