Replaced
Ian Curtis's memorial stone, stolen from Macclesfield Cemetery at the beginning of July, has been replaced.
The font is now sans serif.
Stephen Morris is quoted in the Macclesfield Express article as saying: "I am glad there is a replacement as I often go to visit the cemetery but it was a shock that the old one had gone".
The search goes on for the original, "But since a fruitless raid on a house in Winsford there have been no new clues as to its whereabouts".
Thanks to Alexandra.
