A quick update on the Shiiine On Weekender which takes place at the Butlin's Minehead Arena from 10-13 November. As previously announced, there are plenty of ex-FAC bands involved including co-headliners Happy Mondays plus Peter Hook & The Light, A Certain Ratio, Space Monkeys, The Wendys, Sons of the Descent (featuring Ian White of The Wendys) and Time For Action (featuring Dermo ex-Northside who also has a DJ slot) and DJ Bobby Langley.

Plus there's a screening / Q&A of the Do You Own The Dancefloor? documentary film.

The Wendys make a highly welcome return in late September with rapidly rising stars Time for Action (featuring Dermo out of Northside) in support on Saturday 30 September at Audio in Glasgow.
