'Sparks...' was the second studio album by , originally released by FBN in May 1982. The album on the first disc is augmented by bonus tracks include the non-album singles Time and Een Kus, plus demos and an EP by instrumental splinter project Smalts.

The second disc features an entire live performance recorded at Amsterdam Melkweg on 7 April 2012 on their 30th anniversary tour, with original members Wally Van Middendorp, Wim Dekker and Pieter Mulder and new guitarist Mark Ritsema.

The Names, the Belgian new wave group best known for their classic recordings with Factory Records, Factory Benelux and Les Disques du Crépuscule release a new collection of studio material entitled 'In Time' via Factory Benelux on 10 February 2014.

In Time comprises selected tracks from two previous studio albums released in 1997 and 2009. Replete with striking cover art and typography by the master himself, Benoît Hennebert, the music is conceptually split into into contrasting 'day' and 'night' 'sides' with both dynamic modern rock songs and longer, more contemplative tracks.

Highlights include Halloween In June featuring Isabelle Antena on guest vocals and Zeroes which is the band's tribute to their late, original producer Martin Hannett.

Kevin Hewick's new album The Heat of Molten Diamonds is out via Pinkbox Records this week as a 6-track CD album. Recorded with Adam Ellis at Leicester's Deadline Studios throughout 2013 it features regular live favourites Americanta, Elegy for Jackie Leven plus four others. This is far from a mini-album though, as a couple of tracks clock in at a whopping thirteen minutes plus.

At Twilight is a new 2CD compilation of singles and album tracks recorded by Paul Haig for Les Disques du Crépuscule which were variously produced by Alan Rankine, Cabaret Voltaire, Bernard Sumner, Mantronik, Lil Louis, Alex Sadkin and Man Parrish and it's out via Crépuscule on 20 January 2014.

The second CD includes all nine tracks from the lost Alan Rankine-produced second studio album from 1984 which has never before been released in its complete form. Plus it also includes 'The Executioner', the unreleased collaboration between Cabaret Voltaire and Paul Haig which was originally planned for release on Factory Benelux (FBN 47/48).

It all comes packaged with a cover portrait by Charles Van Hoorick and the liner booklet includes archive images and track-by-track commentary by Paul Haig.

As trailed the other month, we now have fuller details direct from Factory Benelux about the forthcoming-in-2014 deluxe edition of From The Hip by Section 25.

This 30th anniversary edition will be comprised of 2 CDs in a deluxe 6-panel digi-pack. The first disc will contain the original album and the second will feature several original album demos from 1983 as well as their 1984 David 'Kid' Jensen BBC radio session plus remixes and a new track, Reflection (which will also be released as a limited edition 7" single for Record Store Day 2014).

Add to that the original Fact 90 artwork by Peter Saville, Trevor Key's mountain photography and a 12-page booklet you have a very nice package indeed.

Factory Benelux has finally announced full details and pricing of its new re-edition of the classic debut album by The Durutti Column, the enigmatically-titled 'The Return of The Durutti Column' originally released in the infamous sandpaper sleeve in 1980.

This new edition imagineers the narrative of the original FACT 14 edition on Factory Records. So, rather than some old LP sleeves with some 12" square sheets of sandpaper glued on on either side, there's an 11-inch square sheet of coarse glasspaper seated in a recessed deboss. And then there's the back cover which features period photographs Daniel Meadows.

The original Hannett 'Test Card' flexi-disc has been converted to a regular non-flexi-disc black vinyl 7" single and this brings commensurately better sound quality.

There are two bonus tracks on the main album itself, 'Madeleine' and 'Lips That Would Kiss' which previously came out on an FBN single in 1980.

Wrap that all up with liner notes with quotes from Vini Reilly, Martin Hannett, Tony Wilson, Peter Saville, Daniel Meadows, John Brierley, Bruce Mitchell and members of Joy Division and you have a very nice package thank you very much. It's all finished off in a plastic bag which will protect the other records in your collection.

Factory Benelux is set to release a new double vinyl edition of Harmony, the debut album by The Wake, originally released by Factory Records at FACT 60 in December 1982.

Bonus tracks on this special edition 2LP include the Factory Benelux single Something Outside b/w Host, as well as their John Peel session from July 1983.

The Harmony double vinyl edition is released on 28 October 2013.

Klanggalerie has invited some great bands from the avant-garde and industrial music spheres to remix a selection of tracks by Section 25 and the results may be heard in the new 14-track Eigengrau remix CD album.

Contributors include Atomizer, Monoton, Wrangler/Stephen Mallinder and 23 Skidoo and the results have given the tracks selected (both old and new) a radical refresh.

More Cabaret Voltaire reissue news following recent announcements about #8385 (Collected Works 1983-1985), comes via Mute who will re-release the iconic 1981 album Red Mecca on 22 July 2013.

This will be the first time the album has been available on vinyl since Mute's own 1990 reissue. Red Mecca features the classic Cabs line-up of Richard H Kirk, Stephen Mallinder and Chris Watson.

Kooky Records has confirmed details of its Record Store Day release for 2013 - A Paean To Wilson by The Durutti Column.

"It is pressed on 2 x 180gram vinyl discs, remastered and gently coaxed since the CD release in 2009.
The main alteration is the omission of the 'hidden track wind noise' at the end of the album; to bring timings in within the limits of four sides!

Artwork has been restructured by Trevor Johnson and the album also contains the following:

a) A free download code with every copy.
b) A copy of the original folded poster programme from the MIF show.
c) A postcard - using the cover image of Tony Wilson and Vini sat at the piano, with information on the flip side.

Both these physical artefacts ( b) and c) ) will be packed in a black envelope foil block stamped and inserted in the album before shrink wrapping.

Pressing :- There are exactly 497 copies one run only
Availability :- Released 20th April 2013 for Record Store Day*

* Please note - This means that it will only be sold through record shops primarily to support our independent retailers.

It will retail at £26.00.
